So what is the perfect diet? It seems that everyone out there has a different opinion about what is a healthy diet. If you asked 100 people what it means to eat healthy, you would get 100 different answers. And to make matters worse, the so-called experts themselves all have different opinions and there is so much controversy around the question, “What should I eat to lose weight?”
Since Our objective is to burn fat so we want our body to have to go into the fat cells and use that for fuel instead of just constantly burning carbohydrates that came from your last meal. Here is how we make that happen.
When the body needs glucose and there isn’t enough in the blood stream (from a high carbohydrate meal), the pancreas is signaled to release the hormone glucagon.
Glucagon stimulates the release of glycogen (stored glucose) out of the cells to be used up for energy. Once all of the glycogen has been used up out of the cells, then your body turns to your fat cells for energy. This is how fat-burning occurs. Think of glucagon as the key that goes into the fat cell, unlocks the fat and sends it to the muscle site to be burned by the muscle.
Glucagon first depletes the glucose in the muscle cells, then the liver cells, then finally in the fat cells.
So how do you provide an environment within your body where it has no choice but to use fat for energy? The key is to only eat foods that result in little to no stimulus of insulin because that way, your body will have to tap into your fat reserves to get the energy it needs. That is the simple and fundamental way your body burns fat.
The perfect diet would be one that allowed your body to use fat for energy while at the same time providing your body with an abundance of dense nutrition.
