So You could be do everything right when it comes to losing weight, eating healthy food, avoiding bad food, drinking plenty of water and taking your supplements, exercising. However, if you are not getting good enough sleep then you might be stuck in fat burning mode.
Here is why. The majority of fat burning happens at night through the release of the fat burning hormone called GROWTH HORMONE. This hormone releases at night and burns fat while you are sleeping. Furthermore, if you don’t get good quality sleep your blood sugar levels will be a lot higher the next day due to the release in cortisol which is your stress hormone, and high blood sugar levels is going to lead to fat storage. SO basically your body is storing fat even without you eating any bad food. Not good huh.
So you really want to make it a priority to get good sleep and you need 7-8 hours. If you are someone who struggles with sleeping or you have insomnia here are some helpful tips for you.
First thing to know is that insomnia is a symptom of something else. Its not a disease that you just somehow end up with. The good news is that Doing this plan is going to dramatically help with any underlying issues that could be causing the insomnia or sleep issues.
So here are some common reasons for not being able to sleep well. The first reason for not being able to sleep at night is snacking throughout the day. When you constantly snack throughout the day you are continuously releasing insulin which is causing you to be tired during the day and its preventing you from sleeping at night. So go back to fat burning tip number 2 and implement the IF strategy of NO SNACKING. That’s the very first thing you should do to improve your sleep.
The next reason is adrenal problems or stress. So if you have a lot of stress it builds up and stays in your body and it puts you in a constant state of fight or flight and it doesnt turn off and doesn’t relax enough for you to be able to sleep. In this case you need certain nutrients that will help support your adrenal glands which would be the weight loss drops that I talked about in video number 3.
If you are taking the drops and still have trouble sleeping either trouble falling asleep or getting up in the middle of the night and not able to go back to sleep then that means that certain points of your body are actually stuck in the ON position and you need a special acupressure tool to help relieve those areas of stress. This is the device I recommend which was created by Dr. Berg and you can get a discount by using the link below this video, he also has a ton of videos on youtube about this tool and how it helps relieve stress so that you can sleep better.
Other things that will help you sleep is reducing caffeine during the day, if you are drinking a lot of coffee or tea try cutting it back to just one cup in the morning.
If you are exercising at night you might be releasing too much cortisol that is keeping you from sleeping so try to exercise earlier in the day.
Don’t eat anything 3 hours before bed. You want your body to be ready for sleep and to burn fat not busy digesting food which uses up a lot of energy from the body and will make it harder for your body to sleep if its digesting food.
Also doing things like turning off your TV, computer and cell phone once it gets dark outside will help because when it gets dark outside your body automatically starts to release melatonin however if you are exposed to a ton of blue light from electronics it prevents your body from releasing melatonin.
So hopefully those tips will help you sleep better. See you in the next video.
